THE SCIENCE HOUSE

The Science House annually reaches over 5,000 teachers and over 36,000 students from six offices spread across the state. Our mission is to work in partnership with K-12 teachers and students to promote the use and impact of hands-on inquiry based learning in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

The Science House programs are guided by the best research and practices in STEM education. We engage faculty and students at NC State University and other institutions to enrich teachers’ content knowledge and to help students visualize careers in STEM disciplines.
